Most of us struggle with our skin on a daily basis. Whether you have freckles, pimples or blackheads has a big effect on how you should treat your skin. You don't have to have naturally flawless skin to have a pretty face! You just need to know how to take care of it. AG has researched and found some direct ways to help you with specific problems.

A Fun Cleansing Trick...

Ingredients: 1 Apple

Directions: Always begin with a simple cleanser such as Ponds Fresh Start (my personal favorite!) or Neutrogena's Oil-free Acne Wash (for those who want to get one up on pimples!) Then take an apple and slice it into really thin slices. Place the slices on your face and leave them for about 15 minutes. They soak up the extra oils and help to close your pores.

For Dry Skin...

Ingredients: Plain Whole Milk

Directions: After cleansing skin, apply milk and let set on skin for about 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water and pat dry. Do this twice a day. Not only does milk give you strong bones, but healthy skin as well!

Spotty Freckles...

Ingredients: Lemon Juice

Directions: After cleansing just put some lemon juice on a cotton ball/pad and apply it on you face. The juice will begin to even out your skin tone and lightly fade those 'strong' freckles after some time.

For Those Pimples Ruining Your Day...

Ingredients: Toothpaste (not gel!)

Directions: Just place a dab of toothpaste directly on the pimple before you go to bed. Sleep on it and the redness and puffiness should be gone by morning.

Or you might want to try some Visine eye drops on those really red ones. It gets the redness out of almost anything!
Blackheads That Won't Go Away...

Ingredients: Neutrogena Transparent Facial Bar & Plain 'ole table Salt

Directions: After taking a long, warm bath, give your face a splash of cold water. Then rub a pinch of table salt mixed with a pinch a soft, soggy portion of the soap together in between your fingers. Begin then to rub it on your face for about 1 minute, making sure to get it well into the blackheads. Rinse well and pat dry. Repeat for a week.
