Sis. Alonda Johns from Titusville, Florida is a talented hairdresser and has had years of experience. Read more about her below! Sis. Alonda will be sharing new hair tips every edition! Here's the braided bun!

Step 1:  Straighten Hair and then make a side part for your braid and comb the rest back from the crown

Step 2: Make a loose french braid to the side. Use a little mouse to help remove frizz. Leave a few strands to the side for softness. (We'll straighten these later.)

Step 3:  Continue to French Braid around the back and to the other side where the bun will be. Pin the Braid to the back where I am pointing to.

Step 4: Tease the middle section and the side for more lift.

Step 5: Gather the teased area into a tight pony tail to the side, where you left off with the braid.Once hair is in a tight pony tail, pull teased hair with comb to create lift.

Step 6:  Start pulling on the French braid from the front to create more life in the braided area. (It’s okay if it looks a little lumpy.)

Step 7: Spray pony tail and use a little pomade (or moose) then make a loose braid.

Step 8: Next pull on the braid to make it loose, then wrap it around into a loose bun. Pin and pull braid out to make it look fuller.

Step 9: Straighten the loose ends in the front, tuck and spray frizzy hair and loose ends and your done!
